Privacy Policy
This notice describes information handled by Heart Symbol Copy Paste and the choices you have. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to the site operator at the support address below.
Your browser, your choices
Analytics choices
Analytics is allowed by default when a service is enabled. This is the site’s default, not a choice you have already made. You can pause each service below. Advertising storage and personalization remain denied.
Your choices are stored separately from your heart combo. Pausing analytics does not remove cookies that a provider has already stored; use your browser’s site-data controls to remove them. Clearing site data removes this preference too.
The current service
The site provides public references and browser-based text tools without accounts, paid checkout or a user-upload service. Optional analytics runs only when enabled in the website version you are visiting. The Analytics choices section shows which services are enabled and lets you control each one. Local development and deployment previews are kept unconfigured; advertising storage and personalization are denied.
Functional copy history uses your browser’s local storage. That is different from a cookie sent with a page request.
Optional analytics and your choices
When enabled, Plausible counts page visits using the actual page origin and path, the referring origin, a site domain and the pageview event name. We do not include query strings, URL fragments, copied text, generated text or visitor identifiers in that request. Technical connection information, including IP address and browser information, still reaches the provider; no Cookie does not mean no network data.
Google Analytics 4 measures visits and engagement. This site supplies a page URL without its query string or fragment and a referrer reduced to its origin. Automatic site-search, form, outbound-link and history-change measurement are not enabled for this integration. We do not send entered text or heart combos as events, user IDs or page titles.
Microsoft Clarity can provide heatmaps and session recordings when enabled. The Clarity project uses strict text masking. Input areas, search results, generated output, sequence inspection, copy history and copy dialogs also carry explicit masking attributes. This integration skips Clarity on documents whose initial URL or referrer contains a query string or fragment, so search text in such URLs is not sent through that integration.
Analytics is allowed by default for a configured service; that default is not presented as your affirmative consent. A saved pause takes precedence before initialization. Pausing Plausible stops its requests. Pausing Google Analytics or Clarity denies analytics storage; their scripts can still load and send limited cookieless measurement. Advertising storage remains denied. Provider-enforced regional rules still apply.
Your three choices are kept in local storage under heart-symbol-copy-paste.analytics.v1, separately from your combo, until changed or removed. If storage is unavailable, a choice applies on the current page but cannot be kept for later visits. Later storage-read failures retain the last known choice rather than reversing a saved pause.
You can change the choices at any time using Analytics choices in the Footer or the controls on this page. Changing a choice does not erase already collected provider data or all existing browser cookies; browser site-data controls are available for removing stored data.
Copy history is stored in your browser
After a successful symbol or generated-text copy, the site can save the copied text, its label and an internal item identifier in local storage. The history holds up to 50 complete entries and persists across pages and browser restarts until you remove it or clear site data.
The storage key is heart-symbol-copy-paste.clipboard.v1. There is no account-based or server-side history backup. If browser storage is unavailable, entries may remain only in the current page’s memory.
Use the expanded combo bar to remove individual entries, or Clear to remove this site’s saved history. Your browser’s site-data controls can also remove it. Removing local history does not clear the operating system’s clipboard.
Generator, inspector and clipboard actions
Text entered into Heart Text Generator or the sequence inspector is processed in your browser. It is not sent to a generation or inspection API, and it is excluded from the analytics fields and explicitly masked for session recording. Changing the input does not save it in the copy history; a successful copy of a result can save that result locally.
The website writes text to the clipboard when you choose a copy action. It does not automatically read your existing clipboard. If copying is blocked, the manual-copy dialog displays the text you selected for that action.
Header search filters a downloaded site index locally. A query placed in a reference-page URL, such as ?q=, can appear in your browser history and in the technical request sent for that URL.
Page delivery and technical request information
Requesting a website page requires connection information to reach the server and any delivery or security infrastructure. That information can include an IP address, requested URL, request time, browser details and technical error information. It is separate from the generator’s local input and the locally saved combo history.
Technical request information may be processed to deliver pages, protect the service and investigate errors. Service providers can process this information under their own arrangements and applicable privacy notices; it should not be confused with an advertising profile.
Information you choose to send by email
If you contact support, your email address, message and any attachments are processed to respond, investigate the reported issue or handle your request. Your chosen email service and the receiving email service also process the message for delivery.
Only send information relevant to the request. Correspondence is retained while needed to respond, follow up on an issue, keep a necessary correction or dispute record, or meet applicable obligations, and should be removed when those purposes no longer require it.
Use, service providers and international processing
We do not sell or rent personal information or share it for cross-context advertising. Access or disclosure may be necessary for service delivery, email handling, security, a legal obligation or protecting legitimate rights.
Information handled by delivery, security or email providers may be processed in countries other than your own. Where applicable law requires safeguards for such processing, those requirements apply. The local generator itself does not require a transfer of its input to a service provider.
Where a legal basis is required, essential operation, security and responding to requests may rely on legitimate interests or applicable legal obligations. Optional processing that requires consent should be introduced only with the appropriate choice and an updated notice.
Your choices and applicable rights
You control the local history through its remove and Clear actions or your browser’s site-data settings. We cannot recover a cleared local history or delete an operating-system clipboard from the website.
Depending on applicable law and your circumstances, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability for personal information handled by the site operator. Contact support to explain the request; verification may be needed to protect the information involved. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
The site is for a general audience and does not ask users to provide a birth date or a child’s personal details. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support that should be removed, contact the same address.
Changes to this notice
Changes to data handling, optional services or contact arrangements should be reflected in this notice and its update date. Review the current notice when using a newly introduced feature. This notice concerns this website; external sites and your receiving applications have their own practices.
